At The New North Academy, we strive to ensure that all our children and families are able to access support and advice for whatever issues they may face.

Below is some information and links to organisations we work alongside with who work to improve the lives of those in our community.

 

New River College Outreach Service (NRC) provides services to schools to improve pupil behaviour and reduce exclusions.

 

 St Giles Trust SOS Project is a service that helps young people exposed to or at risk of violence, vulnerability and exploitation.

 

 Islington Food Bank is a project funded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in the Islington area.

Should you require a referral, please speak with our Child and Family Support Worker. 

 

School-Home Support (SHS) works with school and local authorities to provide personalised support to children and families, tackling the underlying barriers to a successful education to improve the life chances of children.

 

 

Waythrough helps children, young people and families who are affected by parental alcohol or drug use in Islington.

 

Solace Women’s Aid support women and children around domestic violence.

 

Bright Futures 5-19 support families with school-aged children up to 19 years old with wide range issues including housing, training, employment, challenging behaviour, debt etc.
