General Admission Information

We are really delighted that you are considering joining our Academy to start your child’s learning journey. This is SUCH an exciting time, but also such a big decision to make! We are incredibly proud of our school. We have been working incredibly hard to move standards forwards since our last Ofsted inspection, and would actually quite like inspectors to return so that they can acknowledge and celebrate our progress and achievements too. The best way to find out more is to visit us. The opportunity to speak to staff directly and to get a real feel for the place will really help guide and shape your decision making progress. This visit would also allow you to see learning in action and to speak to our children, who are the very best advocates of our school.

Admission Arrangements
The New North Academy Admissions Policy is in line with the London Borough of Islington and the pan-London arrangement. The Governing Body is responsible for the admission of pupils into The New North Academy and complies with the infant class size rules which requires that each Reception (Foundation Stage 2), Year 1 or Year 2 class must have no more than 30 children with a qualified teacher. The admission numbers for The New North Academy take this into account.

Nursery and Years 1 to 6
Children who are approaching their 3rd birthday, and children aged 5-11, can collect an admission form directly from the Academy or download one using the link below.
